WAYANAD - COORG - MYSORE - OOTY - CALICUT

Day 01: Wayanad Arrive at Calicut / Kozhikode International airport or the railway station, our representative will take you to Wayanad (about 4 hrs’ drive). You will be delighted with the mesmerizing sight of hills, caves hiding some secrets of the past, lakes reflecting the surrounding lustrous forests, small streams and miniature water falls caressing the hills and dales. Day 02: Wayanad In the morning, after breakfast you are off for a full day local sightseeing during which you will be led to the famous Edakkal caves-12 kms from Sulthan Bathery. There are three (3) caves located at a height of 1000 mts on Ambukuthi mala near Ambalavayal. The new Stone Age pictographic writings on the walls of these natural caves at Edakkal are the indication of the civilizations that existed in the regions in the pre-historic times. Chethalayam Falls: Chethalayam is one of the minor waterfalls in Wayanad. Its surroundings offer a number of vantage points for bird-watching. It is also popular with trekking enthusiasts. Stay for the night at the hotel Day 03: Wayanad In the morning, after breakfast visit Kuruwa Deep (with packed lunch). Mananthavady Kuruwa Island is 955 acres of green forest on the tributaries of the east flowing river Kabani. The island is unoccupied and truly a paradise with myriad birds. Have packed lunch, relax for an hour so and proceed to Tholpetty Wild life sanctuary. You can find here spotted deer, elephants, bison, leopard, tiger…etc. It is a 25 km drive inside the sanctuary wherein you will come across a unique variety of wildlife. You have an overnight stay at the coziness of the hotel room with much anticipated sweet expectations of the beautiful landscape waiting in store for you. Day 04: Wayanad - Coorg In the morning, after breakfast you proceed to Coorg (100kms). You will be delighted with the mesmerizing sight of hills and caves; lakes surrounded lustrous forests and small streams and miniature water falls caressing the hills and dales. On your arrival at Coorg, you are cordially led into the leisure of the hotel room. Later visit the spectacular Abbi Falls which is a must be visited location for tourist to Coorg. Proceed to the Raj’s Seat from where you can enjoy panoramic views of the misty Coorg valley. Stay for the night at the hotel. Day 05: Coorg In the morning, after breakfast you will proceed to Talcauvry (the origin point of River Cauvery) and Bhagamandala (the point where Cauvery assumes the shape of a river). Later visit the ancient temple and in the evening, go to Madikeri town and enjoy shopping for honey, coffee and spices as souvenirs of your travel to Coorg. Gandhi Mantap, A memorial to the father of the nation built at the site where Mahatma Gandhi sat and addressed the people of Madikeri during his visit in 1932.Night stay at hotel. Day 06: Coorg - Mysore In the morning, after breakfast, check out from hotel and you proceed to Omkareshwara Temple and enjoy at leisure this spectacular hill retreat. Head towards the Rajiv Gandhi National Park at Nagarhole in the morning and later proceed to ‘The Cultural Capital of Karnataka’-Mysore (125kms / 3hrs) about 770 m above the sea Level. On arrival at Mysore, check in to hotel, and enjoy the overnight stay there. Day 07: Mysore Morning proceed to Mysore local sight seeing. Visit Srirangapatna - Tippu’s Summer Palace, St. Philomena’s church and world famous Brindavan Garden on the Krishna Raja Sagar curves, fearful tunnels and chugs along beside deep ravines full of verdant vegetation, small streams and tea gardens. Take a walk along this enchanting garden and at sun set watch the musical fountains and colored lights along the dam. Over-night will be stay at the Mysore hotel. Day 08: Ooty In the morning, after breakfast, proceed to Ooty (155kms). Ooty also known as Udhagamandalam is the "Blue Mountains” and the capital of Nilgiris district. It is one of the most popular tourist resorts in India. It is a land of picturesque picnic spots. It is located at an altitude of 2,245 meters above sea level. It winds up its way through many hair-raising Coonoor is the second largest hill station in the Nilgiris. It is surrounded by tea plantations, with its ravines, valleys, and waterfalls. Bird watching is a popular leisure here. Coonoor is famous for a variety of wildflowers and birds, like cormorants, pipits, thrushes, parakeets, skylarks, Nilgiri verditer vultures, eagles and owls, song birds, bulbuls, , babblers, larks cuckoos, robins and several others. Sims Park is situated in a deep ravine at an elevation of 1,768 to 1,798 Mts. The Sim's Park is an important place to visit in Coonoor. It is a 12-hectare park, having a collection of over 1,000 species of plants, including magnolia, pines, tree ferns, and camellia. The botanical garden developed here partly in the Japanese style got its name after J. D. Sim who was the secretary of the Madras Club in 1874. The key attraction of the park is the annual fruit and vegetable show held in May every year. Sim's park was inaugurated in 1874. Over-night will be stay at the Resort. Day 09: Ooty In the morning, after breakfast proceed for a full day sight seeing which includes: Botanical Garden: - This is a 55-acres garden absolutely beautiful, founded in 1847 by the Marquis of Tweedale. Catherine Falls: - It is from Kotagiri at a distance of 8 kms away from Ooty. One can have a wonderful view of St. Catherine Water falls which is about 250 feet height from Dolphin's Nose of Coonoor. Laws Falls: - From a height of about 180 feet this fall offers a spectacular view for the visitors. Situated on the Coonoor-Mettupalayam Road at a distance of 7 Kms away from Coonoor, it is also a beautiful picnic spot. Kattery Falls: - Kattery falls are one of the highest falls in the Nilgiris situated about 5-km from Coonoor on the Kendala road. At the beginning of the century a Hydro power station was built on it. It was the first ever-Hydro power plant in the country to harness the fall to generate electricity for Cordite factory. Lady Caninng's: - Seat: -it is situated about 9 kilometers away from Coonoor. It is marked by a small house and commands panoramic sight of the tea estates. Dolphin Nose: -The Dolphin's Nose, which is 11 kms from Coonoor is a unique rock of marvelous size. Dolphin's Nose has spectacular views onto St. Catherine's falls on the one side and Coonoor and Kotagiri streams, tributaries of the Bhavani, on the other. The Droog: -The Droog at 6000 feet is located about 15-km away from Coonoor. It is also a famous picnic spot. This place was used as an outpost by Tippu Sultan. Ooty Lake Deer Park: -The Lake here is an irregular 'L' shaped structure placed in a picturesque setting. The lake offers a variety of boats for boating. This end of the lake also has a children's park, a deer park, a mini-garden etc. Over-night will be stay at the Resort. Verj�ngungskur (Rasayana Chikitsa)

Erfrischt die Haut und regeneriert und stärkt alle Gewebe, um somit ideale Gesundheit und Langlebigkeit zu erreichen. Erhöht das 'Ojas' (primäre Vitalität) und verbessert das "Sattva" (geistige Klarheit) und erhöht dadurch die Resistenz des Körpers. Kerala, das Land des Ayurveda Kerala besitzt ein ungebrochene Ayurveda-Tradition, die zahlreiche Invasionen und Einfälle durch Fremde und auch Einheimische überlebt hat.
