ARALAM FARM Water Sources The sanctuary area exhibits slope from east to west. Cheenkannipuzha forms the main drainage system on the southern side, which flows to west. Narikadavuthodu, Kurukkathodu and Meenmuttithode, from the northern upper reaches flow southwards to join Cheenkannipuzha. A network of small streamlets joins this river at different points from east to west including the Chavachithode in the eastern boundary. On the north western side water drains to Urittipuzha.
